Avera St. Luke's Auxiliary Scholarships
Five scholarships are given annually by Avera St. Luke's Auxiliary in the amount of $500 each. They are awarded to seniors in high school planning to enter an area of study in the health care field. The recipient must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Floyd Valley Auxiliary Scholarship
The Floyd Valley Auxiliary provides 2 scholarships to eligible high-school seniors interested in furthering their medical education in the Le Mars area. Sign-up begins in January and ends April 1. Learn more by calling 712-546-3428.
Kris Christensen Paramedic Fund
The Kris Christensen Paramedic Fund provides scholarships for individuals accepted into the Avera McKennan School of Emergency Medical Services for the Paramedic Education program. For more information contact the Avera McKennan Foundation at 605-322-8900.
Avera Health Leaders Scholarship for Students
Current Avera employees, spouse or children are eligible to apply. Leadership is the God-given talent to work well with others, create a vision and bring that vision to life for the good of all. Avera has been blessed with dedicated leaders who saw the vision of providing a quality, cost-effective health ministry that reflects Gospel values. Avera Health Foundation provides the Avera Leaders Scholarship to nurture the next generation of leaders to share this vision with up to five $2,000 scholarships awarded each year.

DeSchepper Rehabilitation Education Scholarship
This endowed scholarship, established in 1994, has been made available because of charitable gifts given in honor of Hector DeSchepper through the Avera McKennan Foundation.
Current employees of the therapy and rehabilitation department at Avera McKennan Hospital & University Center are eligible to apply. To receive an application and eligibility requirements, contact a rehabilitation department manager at Avera McKennan.
Sister Colman Coakley Education Scholarship
This endowed scholarship, established in 1992, has been made available because of charitable gifts given to the Avera McKennan Foundation in honor of Sister Colman for her strong belief in the value of education.

Nursing students and Avera employees can take advantage of an innovative approach to financial assistance that links scholarship money with career opportunities through the Avera Resources for Careers in Health (ARCH) scholarship. Current employees of Avera McKennan Hospital & University Center who are enrolled in a College of Nursing BSN/BAN program are eligible. Find more information on how to apply.

The Avera Marshall N. Ben Weiner Scholarship was established to help further education for those in the healthcare field. Available through the Avera Marshall Foundation, current employees of Avera are eligible to apply.
