Shadow Program

A shadow program has been developed to introduce prospective students to Radiologic Technology. This program allows individuals to visit the radiology department and obtain first hand experience about the field of Radiologic Technology.

During the 90 minute visit, you will be assigned a guide to take you around the department. Your guide, a member of our radiology department, will explain the various procedures being performed and answer any questions you may have about the profession.

To participate in the job shadow program, contact the Education Department at 605-322-8950 and arrange for a visit. These visits are scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday morning.

Visitors should be neatly dressed; a dress, or slacks with a dress shirt is required. No shorts, t-shirts or other clothing not representative of a professional appearance are allowed.
