Professional Development Program Application Process

If you are a nursing student interested in the PDP Program, you must submit the following to the Avera McKennan Human Resources Department (see below for mailing information):

1. Complete the Avera McKennan Employment Application:

• Go to  Avera Job Search
• Click on New User to create a personal profile
• Apply for Job #4444-2 (Available October 1st-19th, 2009)

2. Complete Interests and Expectations survey.

3. Complete Interest Inventory . 

4. Complete Reference Request (the two references are in addition to the required letter from your academic advisor).

5.  Letter from Academic Advisor  stating current academic status.

6. Mail current official or unofficial transcript from the college or university you are presently enrolled in and copy of CPR certification card (Roster not acceptable).

Transcript and Copy of CPR license need to be mailed together to:

The deadline for PDP Summer 2010 is Monday, October 19th, 2009.
