Cancer Services

The Oncology Department at Floyd Valley Hospital offers cancer care through a wide variety of services. We have a full laboratory and radiology department in the hospital that allows the oncologist to monitor patients without the need to drive to another town. A personal touch is given here with nurses who are specially trained in oncology.

Services

We offer monthly oncology clinics with Dr. Hagin from Siouxland Hematology Oncology Associates. We also give chemotherapy and other medications including G-CSF and procrit.

We offer treatment in a comfortable environment with nurses that are trained to care for people who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis. Here at Floyd Valley Hospital, we have the expertise to answer your questions and talk with you about your concerns.

Treatments

Patients can receive daily, weekly or monthly treatments. We also do lab work and evaluations as needed and relay all information directly to the oncologist. We are also able to give blood transfusions or care for venous access devices between treatments.
