MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST / MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Full time working rotating day shifts with weekend and holiday involvement.  Will perform various chemical, microscopic and bacteriological tests to obtain data for the use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases in the departments of hematology, chemistry, toxicology, immunohematology, bacteriology, and hemostasis.  Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technician or Bachelors degree in Medical Technology required.   Microbiology experience preferred.   ASCP/NCA or equivalent certification.  Benefit eligible.

RESPIRATORY THERAPIST

PRN position offering scheduling support during peak patient census andco-worker vacations.  Responsibilities to include caring for both inpatients and outpatients including Emergency Room and Estherville Medical Clinic.  Must be a graduate of an AMA approved school of Respiratory Therapy.  Current NBRC registration status and license according to State Law required.  BLS, ACLS, and Dependent Adult and Child Abuse certification required within six months of employment.  PALS, NRP recommended.

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE - (CFO)

Avera Holy Family Hospital is seeking candidates for the position of Director of Finance (CFO).

This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the fiscal services of Avera Holy Family Health, including budget development and oversight, budget interpretation, coordination, and administration of financial policies. This position provides leadership to a variety of departments in the finance division. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business management; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Healthcare finance experience is preferred.

The diversified healthcare campus of $19 million in net revenue includes a modern 25-bed critical access hospital and an attached clinic with 5 family practice physicians and 1 physician assistant.  The hospital offers a full range of specialty services through an active outpatient clinic and was the first facility in Iowa with e-ICU technology. 

Estherville, with a current population of 6,500, is a progressive community with a strategic plan for growth and community enhancement through EXCEL! Estherville.  It is the home to Iowa Lakes Community College , a leader in wind energy education.  The Estherville Lincoln Central School system is just completing a major building project which includes the construction of a new middle school and the renovation of the elementary school.  Estherville features many recreational opportunities, such as two 9-hole golf courses, a new Regional Wellness Center , Fort Defiance State Park , tennis courts, ball fields and easy access to the Iowa Great Lakes.
