Welcome to Landmann-Jungman Hospital

Located just off Main Street in Scotland, S.D., Landmann-Jungman Memorial Hospital (LJMH) is a community, non-profit corporation. It was named after two long-time doctors, Gustav Landmann, MD and O. A. Jungman, DO.

The hospital is licensed for 25 acute care beds and 10 swing beds. In addition to general medical/surgical inpatient cases, many of our activities involve outpatient work. Several visiting specialists spend time at LJMH conducting outreach clinics on a regular basis. Outreach specialty areas include cardiology, general surgery, OB/GYN, as well as mobile MRI, CT, nuclear medicine and mammography.

LJMH is proud of the excellent care we provide our patients. The hospital is noted for its community service, which includes an annual health fair, and bi-monthly blood drives.
