Grief Programs
Grief situations present significant life challenges that can affect us, our families and our work life. These programs are designed to help individuals through the grief and loss process. Sessions are led by qualified clinicians and include formal learning experience and group discussion.
Our grief programs take place in an intimate, small group setting and are provided free of charge through a grant from the Avera Foundation. If you would like to help, donations are accepted for the Avera McKennan Grief & Loss Center.
Adult Grief Program
Our grief program can help you say goodbye and cope with your loss. Grief is usually a painful feeling that can affect your entire being - emotionally, socially, physically and spiritually. Our counselors will offer information about the normal grief process during this program for adults or seniors.
