Our Rehabilitation Facilities

Our rehabilitation programs are offered at a number of different locations based on the type of service and the needs of the patient. Patients who need to stay with us for a period of time will normally be in the Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center building on our main campus.

Our outpatient programs take place at multiple facilities both on and off our main campus.

Avera McKennan Outpatient Rehabilitation Center

Avera McKennan's Outpatient Rehabilitation Center offers a full range of outpatient therapies for pediatric and adult patients not requiring a stay in the hospital. This includes physical, occupational and speech therapy. Programs are available for treatment of patients with amputations, arthritis, neck/back pain, chronic pain and carpal tunnel syndrome.

Specialized programs are also available including chronic pain, hand rehabilitation and return-to-work programs as well as wellness services for the disabled.
