We offer a number of support services that aid in keeping your child safe and healthy.

Car Seat Program
Working with the state of South Dakota, we provide car seat safety and education for parents. We also have car seats available for qualifying South Dakota families at no charge.

Home Town Connection
With parent permission, this program can help keep local personal physicians informed about the care a patient is receiving at our hospital.

Pediatric Audiology
Our audiology department has equipment and specialized staff to assist with screening and detection of hearing problems in your child.

Pet Therapy
A break from the hospital routine to provide playtime with a puppy is beneficial and uplifting for children. We are proud to work with the Sioux Falls Humane Society to provide children with friendly animal companionship.

Sedation Services
Pediatric patients require special consideration for any medical procedure. They need attention in relation to immobility, anxiety, pain control, monitoring and recovery. Sedation services include procedural sedation to provide immobility for diagnostic radiology such as MRIs, Cat Scans, and nuclear medicine scans as well as pain relief for procedures that are therapeutic and invasive. The main goal of pediatric procedural sedation is the safety and comfort of the child at all times
