Avera Marshall Behavioral Health Center serves southwestern Minnesota with unparalleled behavioral health care. This state-of-the-art, safe and peaceful environment, located on the third floor of the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center, is backed by a team of health experts and caregivers who have training and experience with behavioral health patients.

Our 10-bed inpatient facility serves adults with a need for short-term hospitalization, including treatment for conditions such as:

  • Depression
  • Schizophrenia
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Anxiety disorder
  • Other known behavioral health diagnoses

At Avera Marshall Behavioral Health Center, we employ a team approach that includes a psychiatrist, nurses, social workers, therapists, direct caregivers and family members in order to fulfill a comfortable and familiar plan of care for each patient.
