Caregivers Support Group Scheduled

A Caregivers Support Group has been established so individuals who provide care for a spouse, family member, or other loved one can meet with other caregivers for fellowship and to share ideas and provide emotional support for one another. Meetings are held once a month at the Avera Queen of Peace Hospitality House at 600 East 6th Avenue in Mitchell.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 28, at 2:00 p.m. Parish Nurse Deb Schoenfelder facilitates the group; this month a member of the Mitchell Police Department will be present to introduce a new tracking device called Project Lifesaver. Those attending are asked to please park on the north side of the Hospitality House.
