Our Providers

Dr. Jay Allison

Family physician at O'Neill Family Practice, recently passed an intensive written exam for board certification by the American Board of Family Practice (ABFP). The ABFP mandates this exam to insure doctors are keeping current on recent advances in medicine. The all-day exam tests a physician's knowledge of pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, psychiatry, preventative medicine and other areas of family practice.

Dr. Allison has cared for families in the Holt County area for more than eight years. Besides caring for family members of all ages, Dr. Allison also enjoys tropical medicine and medical ministry in and outside of the U.S. He has pursued additional training in tropical medicine, an asset for the recent West Nile outbreak and for international travelers. Anyone traveling abroad can contact Dr. Allison for information regarding necessary immunizations. Dr. Allison is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Dr. Barbara Gutshall

Dr. Gutshall graduated with her doctorate in Internal Medicine. Dr. Gutshall enjoys the challenges in medicine. She is a native Nebraskan, with ties in the rural area. Her primary focus is care and treatment of adults, maintaining a rapport with her patients and trying to keep them healthy with informed care.

Dr. Preston Renshaw

As a family practice physician at AOFM, Dr. Renshaw will treat the whole family from obstetrics to geriatrics and use his unique training in osteopathy. "This training provides more treatment options for patients with large muscle issues, back pain and large joint conditions. Dr. Renshaw has a special interest in sports medicine which springs from his background of college football and a touch of professional football, playing on the Kansas City Chief's practice team for one year.

Dr. Matthew Winkelbauer

The Winkelbauers got to know O'Neill on weekends when Dr. Winkelbauer worked in Avera St. Anthony's Emergency Room. Both Winkelbauer's are Nebraska natives, with Erika growing up in Wisner, and Matthew in Coleridge. "I've always wanted to practice in a smaller town," Dr. Winkelbauer said. "I have a great appreciation for the medical technology in Omaha, but for raising family - nothing beats a town like O'Neill. Dr. Winkelbauer is a certified family physician who cares for the whole family.
