Training Programs
Nurse Aide Training Program
Approved by the South Dakota Board of Nursing, this 75 hour program is divided into three components:
- 16 hours of self directed study
- 24 hours of classroom instruction
- 35 hours of clinical instruction
After completion of the program, participants are eligible to take the state certification exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. For information on enrolling a student for the Nurse Aide Training Program or to register for the Certification Exam, please call 605-668-8475.

Medication Aide Training Program
This 20 hour program includes 16 hours of classroom instruction and 4 hours of clinical training and is approved by the South Dakota Board of Nursing. Students work individually with the instructor and complete a written exam and mock medication pass. Feeding Assistant Training Program
Approved by the South Dakota Department of Health this 10 hour program includes 8 hours of classroom study complimented with 2 hours of clinical training. Students are required to pass an exam at the end of the program.
Feeding Assistant Training Programs are held on an as needed basis.
