Avera Sacred Heart is located in the southwest corner of Yankton, near the intersection of Highways 50 and 52. The hospital is located directly east of Mount Marty College and the Sacred Heart Monastery.
Parking
Ample parking is conveniently located in close proximity to all three buildings of the Avera Sacred Heart complex.

The Garden Spot Cafe
The Garden Spot Cafe is located on the 2nd floor of the Avera Sacred Heart Rehabilitation and Wellness Institute. This is a cozy, deli-style restaurant offering hot breakfast and lunch and various treats.

The Bean Counter, offering gourmet coffee, hot and cold sandwiches, soups and desserts.

24-Hour Vending Machines
Sandwiches, snacks and beverages are available 24 hours a day from the vending machines located on second floor, directly south of the elevators.

The hospital gift shop is staffed by hospital volunteers and offers an assortment of gifts and much more.
Chapels
A meditation chapel is located in the main hospital lobby and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A mass is held in this chapel on the last Saturday of the month at 11:00 a.m.

The Avera Sacred Heart Medical Library provides quality library services to meet the educational, research and informational needs of patients, family members and medical professionals.
With over 3,200 volumes of hard-bound professional books, the library stocks more than 130 medical, nursing and health care journals. Services include inter-library loan and literature searches, including on-line material to medical journal indexes. The library is affiliated with the University of South Dakota School of Medicine.
