Every day Avera provides for the most vulnerable in our communities. As part of our mission to improve the health of those communities, we work to address the needs of those without access to health care by educating and motivating our employees, our communities and the general public about this national crisis.

Take our on-line survey prioritizing values for shaping the U.S. healthcare system.

Join the nonpartisan coalition of local and national organizations doing something about it. If you or someone you know lacks healthcare coverage there may be help. Visit http://covertheuninsuredweek.org for information about:

  • Low-cost health care through community health centers and clinics;

  • Answers to legal questions about getting and keeping healthcare coverage;
  • Children's health insurance programs offering uninsured children in working families low-cost or free coverage; and
