Group Purchasing

Avera PACE is a shareholder in Premier, a national healthcare Group Purchasing Organization. By leveraging the purchasing power of its more than 1600 member hospitals, Premier is able to offer a broad portfolio of contracts with major vendors at very competitive prices. Last year Premier members purchased over $17 billion dollars using contracts for medical/surgical, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, dietary and all other areas within a hospital. That purchasing power is also extended to our member surgery centers, clinics and long-term care facilities.

Through local and regional contracts with medical/surgical, pharmacy, dietary and radiology distributors, Avera PACE is able to offer excellent service to support the national contracts.
