Need a Reminder? Set a Timer!

Once you get busy with your day it’s easy to realize closer to 5 p.m. that you’ve barely drank any water. The solution is easy. Now that you’re drinking water before every meal, Hy-Vee Dietitian Kristin Sousek recommends setting a few timers in between meals to stop and take a drink.

You can do this by setting an alarm on your phone or computer for every hour. There are also a number of apps you can download that do the work for you. Many of these apps allow you to set up reminders and track your water usage throughout the day.
