Mental Health Family Education Avera Behavioral Health offers free educational sessions followed by discussion for adults who have been impacted by a loved one’s mental illness. These sessions occur on the 2nd Thursday of every month, from 6:30-7:30pm. They are held at the Avera Behavioral Health Center in Room #1583.

SD Kids Mental Health is a set of resources for families and professionals to help in addressing the emotional wellness needs of children. This site is sponsored by South Dakota Voices for Children—a statewide organization whose sole purpose is to improve the lives of all children in South Dakota through program and policy advocacy.
