Wig Salon

Our Care Salon is dedicated to providing wig consultation and styling for cancer patients dealing with the physical and emotional needs of hair loss. The Salon is funded by the Avera Race Against Breast Cancer through the Avera McKennan Foundation.

• We offer the most natural high-quality wigs available and allow patients to try wigs on for fit, color, and style. When the perfect wig is selected, it will be special ordered for each woman.
• Services are provided by Del Lomheim, certified stylist and wig consultant.
• The American Cancer Society, offers Look Good Feel Better to help women apply makeup and feel comfortable with their head covers or wigs.  It makes them look and feel beautifl as they deal with the outward side effects of cancer treatment.

• Face the Day
  In the 'Face the Day' video, Del Lomheim offers a step by step process for applying make-up, wigs and adding accessories. We hope this video will give you some tips on how to 'face the day'.
