The new ALS clinic is an offering of Avera Neuroscience Institute located on the Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center campus and is in partnership with Neurology Associates. This clinic was established to offer high quality, comprehensive care for ALS patients in a convenient and efficient setting.
Avera Neuroscience Institute recognizes that ALS affects not only your health but also your family, work and social life. We try to address these different aspects of your life through our multidisciplinary treatment approach. As your needs change over time, we respond accordingly. We take special care to offer you and your family guidance in reaching important decisions along with offering comprehensive services, support and education—all appropriate to each stage of the disease. Our clinical staff is comprised of medical professionals who have expertise in treating various aspects of the patient’s physical and emotional well-being in the following specialties:

Having a multidisciplinary care team allows patients to receive all ALS-related treatment in one place. We can often schedule visits with multiple specialists in one day, further enhancing patient convenience. We see patients in our multidisciplinary clinic monthly.
