NMDP Grants Transplant Center status to Avera McKennan Transplant Institute

The Avera Transplant Institute's bone marrow transplant program has obtained conventional status as a Transplant Center with the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP). Avera McKennan is honored to be the only transplant center affiliated with the NMDP in South Dakota. 

As an NMDP transplant center, the Avera Transplant Institute has access to the NMDP’s worldwide listing of potential donors for those persons in need of allogeneic bone marrow transplant.
