This is a FREE educational talk and screening.


If you're a Baby Boomer born between 1945 and 1965, CDC guidelines recommend getting screened for Hepatitis C. Often Hepatitis C has no symptoms but can cause serious problems including:

  • Liver damage
  • Cirrhosis
  • Liver cancer

Hepatitis C can be successfully treated with medications.

On January 15, from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. we will be offering FREE Hepatitis C screenings on the first floor of Plaza 3, on the Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center Campus.

Walk-ins are welcome.

Dr. Hesham Elgouhari will also be offering a talk on Hepatitis C on January 15th from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. in the first floor conference room of Plaza 3, located on the Avera McKennan campus. Come to this free information seminar and learn more about the disease and the new, more-effective treatments available.
