The HealthCare Provider CPR class is intended for those people who work in the healthcare field or going into healthcare. The classes, which feature the American Heart Association standards, are offered through a combination of online work and a live skills demonstration. This class will be done in 2 parts.
Participants need to call (605) 622-5588 to register, at which time they will be assigned a key code for Part I of the lesson to be done online. Participants will need to have a computer with speakers and sound to complete this portion. It will take them approximately 90 minutes to complete this portion. When completed they will need to print off a certificate that they bring to the class portion (Part II), the skills demonstration. When registering for this class you will sign up for a 1/2 hour time slot to do the skills portion demonstration and when successfuly completed you will receive your CPR card. Completion of the course is a mandatory prerequisite for attendance in the EMT course, the CPR Instructor course, ACLS and PALS.
