The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course is designed to develop a system of priorities and rationales for treatment in the care of cardiac emergencies according to the standards and guidelines developed by the American Heart Association. Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- identify and demonstrate various airway adjuncts and intubations;
- identify and outline appropriate therapeutic interventions for cardiac arrhythmias;
- supervise and clarify the various medications and dosages to be used in an arrest situation.
This course is desigend for healthcare professionals who are responsible for resuscitation and management of the cardiac patient.
Need to be current in Healthcare Provider CPR to take this course.
