This program is designed for health care and other professionals who are mandated by Iowa law to report possible abuse situations to the Department of Human Services. At the conclusion of the program each participant should be able to: provide an overview of the statues and laws for child/dependent adult abuse in Iowa identify the similarities between the two laws identify the differences between the two laws create awareness of their responsibility as mandatory reporters to report concerns they have regarding potential abuse situations

Registration is limited to 12 participants.
