The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid Course teaches participants how to manage illness and injuries in a child in the first few minutes of an emergency until professional help arrives. This class is taught by a certified American Heart Association instructor. This course is specially designed to train those responsible for children's health in meeting state-specific requirements.

Registration Details

Registration is closed.

Pre-registration is required.  Registration is complete when payment has been received.  Refunds will be made only if calcellation is made 24 hours prior to the class or if the class is cancelled due to lack of enrollment.

Fees & Payment

Course fee is $30 and includes the Standard Frist Aid book.

Description

This class is taught by a certified American Heart Association instructor. This course is specially designed to train those responsible for children's health in meeting state-specific requirements.

First Aid completion card will be mailed to participants following the course.  First Aid is required by the American Heart Association to be renewed every 2 years.

Mandatory Reporter Training - Le Mars

This program is designed for health care and other professionals who are mandated by Iowa law to report possible abuse situations to the Department of Human Services. Heartsaver CPR Renewal Course - Le Mars

This class is for the general public including daycare providers or those working in a childcare setting. All courses are taught in accordance with the American Heart Association's standards for Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and meet OSHA requirements for CPR training. CPR certification is recommended by the American Heart Association to be renewed every two years. CPR Renewal is only for those persons who have a current American Heart Association CPR card.
