‘East Meets West’ Event Can Be Stress-Buster

Looking for ways to better handle daily stress, to visualize yourself stronger, healthier and more resilient? Come to a free event at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, in Aberdeen at Avera St. Luke’s State Street Medical Square, 105 S. State St., to learn more and participate in a cultural mix of techniques.

“East Meets West” is being presented by Avera St. Luke’s Vicki Holley, a certified Ai Chi, Tai Chi and Mind/Body Personal Trainer. She will focus on five steps to create a healthier and happier you:

  • Moves of Yang-style Tai Chi
  • Most important words in the English language
  • Laugh, laugh, laugh (with Laughter Yoga)
  • Yin-Yang, finding balance and harmony in the midst of chaos
  • YOU! You are unique!
