Brain Injury Basics

Learn about mild brain injury/concussion, prevention and community resources for individuals with brain injury. Dr. John Kemp, Avera Marshall orthopedics and sports medicine specialist, and Katie Huwe, Big Stone Therapies speech-language pathologist, will speak at a workshop on Monday, March 8, 2010. The workshop will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Southwest/West Central Service Cooperative (located in the Market Street Mall, 1420 East College Drive in Marshall, MN). Following the presentation, a panel of representatives will discuss resources available locally for individuals with brain injury.

This workshop is open to anyone. Professionals requesting CEUs/training certificates will be charged a $20 fee. Others may attend at no charge.
