‘Go Red For The Heart Of It’ Event Slated For Feb. 15

Avera Sacred Heart Hospital will be hosting its annual “Go Red for Heart Health of It” event from 5:30-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, in the Avera Professional Office Pavilion and Education Center.

This elegant evening will feature heart healthy eating, wine tasting, education and entertainment in celebration of heart month. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., guests can tour the educational booths and sample heart-healthy snacks and beverages including red wine. This will be followed by a heart-healthy dinner at 6:15 p.m.. The education forum begins at 7 p.m. with Cardiologist Will Hurley, MD, Yankton Medical Clinic, P.C., discussing “Importance of Knowing Your Risk for Heart Disease” followed by Author and Motivational Speaker MK Mueller, 8 to Great and MK Mueller Enterprises, discussing “Keeping Your Heart Happy.” Tickets to this special event are only $10 per person.
