Find Out About Sleep Disorders at Health Forum
ABERDEEN, S.D. (Dec. 4, 2012) – Are you mystified by what is ailing your sleep? Would you like to learn more about problems associated with snoring, insomnia and sleep disturbances, and how to deal with them?
A free community health forum focusing on sleep disorders will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, in Aberdeen at Avera St. Luke’s Education Center, 709 Sixth Ave. S.E. Learn more from Dr. Rizan Hajal, medical director of Sioux Falls Sleep Center, who is board certified in pulmonary medicine, sleep medicine and critical care medicine. Sleep apnea, insomnia, abnormal movements of sleep and narcolepsy are just a few of the disorders he has diagnosed and managed. He’ll share information about the basics of healthy sleep, diseases that could affect sleep, and changes in sleep with aging.
Preregistration for the health forum, sponsored by Avera St. Luke’s, is not necessary. Refreshments will be served.
