“Roses...Just Because” Sales Start February 15th

Proceeds Benefit Avera Hospice Mitchell

Avera Hospice Mitchell announces the launching of their annual fund-raiser, “Roses...Just Because,” sponsored by the Avera Queen of Peace Foundation.  Individuals may purchase a dozen long stemmed roses for only $20 and help support hospice at the same time.  A selection of colors will again be available; however, we are unable to take orders for specific colors.  This is the 17th year the fund-raiser has been sponsored.  Last year, volunteers from the hospital and community helped to raise over $14,000 with sales of 1,260 dozen roses.  This year, we have set a lofty goal to sell 1,400 dozen roses so we can continue a tradition of helping those in need through Hospice care.

Roses will be available for pick up on April 16 and 17 at the Maintenance Garage at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital; times will be announced at a later date.
