Avera Brady Health and Rehab Receives Top Ranking

Avera Brady Health and Rehab in Mitchell has been ranked one of the top nursing homes in South Dakota by U.S. News and World Report rankings.
The facility received an overall five-star rating, a distinction that about 18 percent of long-term care facilities in the state received. It was also one of only two long-term care facilities in the state to receive five stars in all three categories.

The three rating categories were health inspections, nursing staff and quality measures for residents. Fire safety and any fines the facility may have faced in the past year were also taken into account for the rating.

“I was very excited and proud of the team I work with,” says Avera Brady Health and Rehab Administrator Veronnica Smith. “It’s because of the people who work here,” she states. “They are invested in the mission of helping the residents and making their lives better.”
