Coping With Vision Loss “To Be Well…” Community Forum

How can I assist my recently visually impaired family member remain independent? How can I maintain my active lifestyle when I’m losing my sight? If you have struggled with questions like these, we invite join us to learn about the resources, services and accommodations available to help your patients, family members, and friends adjust to vision loss.  Discover how the South Dakota Rehabilitation Center for the Blind can help individuals with visual impairments.

Catherine Mitchell and Brandy Aman, both third year medical students at the University of South Dakota, will provide a free “To Be Well…” community forum from 12-1 p.m. Thursday, March, 28 in the Avera Professional Office Pavilion and Education Center.

The forum is free and open to the public. A light lunch will be served. Please make reservations by calling 605-668-8357 as space is limited.
