Maybe a Baby? Find Out More at Avera St. Luke’s Open House
Are you thinking that it might be time to start a family? Maybe a baby? Becoming a parent is a challenging, rewarding, life-changing commitment. Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen would like to help, by providing an opportunity to learn more at “Maybe a Baby,” a free, open house event from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, in the hospital’s southeast lobby.
By participating in “Maybe a Baby,” potential parents can make decisions to benefit their relationship, the health of both mother and baby, and feel better prepared for when “Maybe a Baby” turns into “Definitely a Baby.” This event will provide the opportunity for prospective parents to talk one-on-one with physicians and other health care professionals in a casual setting as they cover topics including:
- Successful pregnancy planning
- Financial planning
- Healthy living and fitness
- Nutrition
- Childbirth
- Breastfeeding
- Pediatrics/pediatric safety
Participants can take a tour of Avera St. Luke’s BirthPlace. Refreshments and door prizes will be available.
