The Dietary Department at Floyd Valley Hospital prepares food for patients, cafeteria service, and Park Place Estates.
Patients are offered two choices for meal services, a non-select menu (dietary chooses menu based on recommended dietary allowances) or room service where the patient is able to choose from a restaurant-style menu at a time they would like to eat. Patients with specials diets may be guided through the menu to help make appropriate choices for their personal needs. For new moms and dads, a celebratory meal service called Dinner Delights is offered with a special menu and service right in their post-partum room.
Guest trays are offered to families and visitors at a nominal fee to allow dining with the patient in their room. Please call 606 from your room if requesting this service. In addition, the Multipurpose Room on the nursing floor has snacks available for families to enjoy while visiting patients.

11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. for noon meal
5:30 - 6:30 p.m. for evening service
Our registered dietician can provide consultations or instructions on diets or nutritional needs (i.e. diabetic, gluten-free, low-fat, low-sodium or low-cholesterol diets). Please call for an appointment.
Heat-and-Eat Meals are provided to the general public with a 24 to 48 hours advance notice. These frozen meals (entree, vegetable and starch) that can be microwaved as a convenient and nutritious meal for those cooking for one.
