Curried Mayonnaise Dip
The spices in this dip (curry, turmeric, and ginger) contain anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer compounds that reduce risk of both heart disease and cancer. This quick and easy dip substitutes for tartar sauce on fish and makes a healthier replacement for those higher fat store bought versions.
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup low-fat mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup nonfat plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp salt
Directions
Combine mayonnaise and yogurt in a bowl. Stir in the spices. Serve with raw or oven roasted vegetable or as a sauce over cooked fish or chicken.
