REGISTERED NURSE-WEEKEND PACKAGE
Weekend package positions working 4 out of 6 weekends Friday-Sunday on Med/Surg. Rotating 12 hour 7A and 7P shifts depending on needs of department. Seeking applicants willing to work two or more of the following areas: Med/Surg, SCU, ER, OB. Experience preferred, but will consider all applicants. Benefit eligible.
PRN positions working 12 hour shifts starting at 7A and 7P. Seeking applicants willing to work in two or more of the following areas: Med/Surg, SCU, ER, OB. Experience preferred in one or more areas of nursing.
SOCIAL WORKER- BSW or MSW
Seeking an applicant to work 36 hours per week Monday-Friday. Responsible for planning, organizing, and providing social work services to patients and their families, assuring that medically related emotional and social needs are addressed. Will assist the Utilization Review RN with discharge planning and aftercare arrangements. Candidate must have the ability to relate to and communicate with diverse populations and groups. Must possess the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships while working within a multidisciplinary team. Will maintain contact with referring agencies and community resources. Bachelors or Master’s degree required. Benefit Eligible.
HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGER
Seeking applicants to work a full time exempt position to manage the day to day operations of the hospital medical records department in the areas of coding, transcription, and scanning into the EMR. Ideal candidates should have a strong coding background with ICD-10 and CPT as well as being a working manager responsible for Inpatient, Same Day Surgery, and Observation Bed coding in a critical access hospital. Additional responsibilities will include but not limited to; accurate abstracting, POA reporting, and DRG assignments. Must have AHIMA accreditation in ART, RHIT, CCA, or CCS. Management or supervisor experience preferable. Benefit eligible
DIRECTOR OF MISSION SERVICES
The Director is responsible for promoting and strengthening the philosophy, mission, values and history of the Avera Health System. Candidates must have a strong Christian faith, a working knowledge of the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services, possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher, and background or experience in promoting mission and values.
This position will report directly to Avera Holy Family Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer and serve on the Hospital’s Senior Administrative Team.
Seeking bilingual applicants in English and Spanish to provide PRN interpreter and/or translation services for hospital and clinic patients. PRN hours when requested by Avera Holy Family Hospital or Clinic staff to assist with emergency and routine patient care situations.
PARAMEDIC-$4,000 sign on Bonus
Full time position working nights. Twelve hour shifts starting at 7:00 p.m. to include weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care in the emergency room under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, and patient transport with the Estherville Ambulance Service. Experience preferable but will consider all applications. State of IA license and National Registry certification to practice required. Benefit eligible.
RN or LPN PRN positions to work as needed, M-F with no holidays in a fast paced family practice clinic. Will work for Avera Medical Group - Estherville covering for any of the nursing positions in the clinic. Experience working in a clinic setting preferred. Responsibilities to include but not limited to: assisting with patient care, patient phone calls, referrals, pharmacy refills, coordinating patient cares, immunizations, injections, and electronic ordering of procedures. Must possess excellent customer service skills, have the ability to multi task, be proficient with computer and keyboarding, be flexible with job assignments, and be willing to work as a member of the team while providing superior patient care.
