Pathology Services

Avera Laboratory Network pathology services are provided by Physicians Laboratory, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. PL's pathologists have a wide range of expertise in pathology and laboratory medicine.  All are AP/CP trained and board certified with subspecialty fellowship training in surgical pathology (5), dermatopathology (1), hematopathology (1), and transfusion medicine (1).  PL also has an inspection team supported by the College of American Pathologists to evaluate facilities and procedures.
