Outreach Specialty Care
We offer many outreach specialty services, with visiting physicians in specialties such as allergy; cardiology (adult and pediatric); ear, nose and throat; general surgery; neurology; OB/GYN; oncology; ophthalmology; orthopedics; podiatry; pulmonology; reconstructive and plastic surgery; rheumatology; urology; and wound care. Lakes Regional Healthcare offers family-centered maternity care in a supportive atmosphere. In our Birth Center, new moms experience the entire labor, delivery and recovery process in comfortably luxurious, medically advanced suites. An arterial screening includes four tests designed to detect the conditions of vascular disease. If detected early, treating vascular disease lowers your risk of stroke, heart disease and other complications. Public Health Services
Public health services are offered through a collaborative effort between Lakes Regional Healthcare, Dickinson County, and the state of Iowa. The Dickinson County Public Health Office is located within Lakes Regional Healthcare. Services include homemaker and home care, maternal-child health, immunizations, health screenings and education, disease surveillance, emergency preparedness, school health and more. Visiting Hours & Patient Information
Lakes Regional Healthcare recognizes the importance of visits by friends and family members during a patient’s hospitalization. We encourage visitors to be healthy. Also, please understand when visiting a patient in isolation that visitors must comply with isolation requirements. The south entrance is open 6 a.m. – 8 p.m. and the west entrance is open 24 hours a day.

Lakes Cafe is open at the following times each day: breakfast, 7:30 – 10 a.m.; lunch, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.; and dinner, 5 – 6:30 p.m.
Pay My Bill
You can pay your hospital bill online or get more information by calling a patient account representative at 712-336-1230.
- All co-payments are due and payable at the time of service.
- If you receive care for a work related injury, notify the receptionist when you arrive for your appointment.
Help us submit your claims to your insurance company, Medicare or Medicaid by giving our business office accurate insurance policy information. You’re also responsible for negotiating with your insurance carrier.
- All Lakes Regional Healthcare providers participate in Medicare and Medicaid.
- If you’re without insurance, ask us about payment plans to help you cover the cost of care by calling 712-336-8700 ext. 1174.
