Personalized Medicine

We are all different. So is the way our bodies process – or metabolize – medication. Personalized medicine helps physicians know the right drug for each patient, at the right dose – all through a simple blood test offered through the Avera Institute for Human Genetics. In orthopedics care, we use personalized medicine to help find the right pain medication for you. Just ask your physician if you’re eligible for this test.

A custom-made foot orthotic is a medical device made to control the way your foot functions. A properly prescribed and manufactured foot orthotic inserted into your shoes will correct abnormalities in your bio-mechanical function (the way your body moves), thus reducing pain, providing support, and preventing these deformities from progressing with age. Foot orthotics not only alleviate foot pain but are effective in treating hip pain, lower back pain, and knee pain that are a result of these mal-alignments in your lower body.

Physical Therapy

Our physical therapy clinic is an outpatient orthopedic setting providing rehabilitation for a variety of orthopedic needs including knee, shoulder and ankle injuries and post-op care, neck pain, plantar fasciitis, sports injuries and more. We also offer massage services through a licensed massage therapist.

Sports Medicine

The physicians at CORE provide clinical treatment for sports-related injuries to help athletes of all ages. Our team-based approach includes:

  • Clinical evaluation and diagnosis
  • Intervention of emergency, acute and chronic conditions related to sports injuries
  • Physical therapy
  • Surgery and rehabilitation

Sports medicine is a comprehensive approach to working with the issues and injuries specific to physical activity. The CORE doctors work with athletic trainers and physical therapists not only to help heal sports-related injuries but to prevent injury and enhance performance. Using sports medicine techniques can help any athlete at any age attain his or her goals.
