Inspired by their foundress, Nano Nagle, the Sisters focus on promoting justice and alleviating oppression all over the world. As they continue to go where need calls out most loudly, they follow their mission of caring for and empowering those in need.

The Sisters sponsor a number of missions and ministries. The Kaoma Sustainability Project in Zambia, Africa helps to alleviate the root causes of poverty. A medical mission in Guatemala provides basic health and dental care and health education to the indigenous people.

Closer to home, the Sisters sponsor ministries for the Hispanic population of Sioux Falls, scholarships to Catholic schools and leadership camps for girls.

Our Mission

We are a vowed faith community who share the mission of Jesus. Inspired by our foundress, Nano Nagle, we willingly go forth to any part of the world to work for justice, alleviate oppression and promote human dignity, especially among the poor. We proclaim the Good News with missionary zeal, in a spirit of love and joy.
