Avera Family Wellness Program

Your Promise...Their Success

There’s no greater reward than knowing you’ve changed a child’s life forever! Your investment of $1,000 provides a child one year of violin instruction and a family health coordinator. When you sponsor a child enrolled in the Avera Family Wellness Program, you give a child a chance to be successful in both school and life.

The Avera Family Wellness Program focuses on early intervention with children enrolled in early childhood programs at Garfield and Hayward Elementary Schools in Sioux Falls. The program provides Suzuki violin training to children during the school day.

• Each family is matched with a family health coordinator to build connection and stability at home. They work directly with individual families on wellness and parenting strategies.
• The program includes a mental health professional team providing family-based assessments and intervention services based on specific individual needs.

Your Gift Changes Lives!

By supporting the Avera Family Wellness Program, you’re investing in the success of a child. As a sponsor, you will receive annual progress reports on your child and their family and will be invited to a special performance showcasing their talents. There are 400 children in our program right now who desperately need your help.  Together, we can make a difference.
