Shadow Program

A shadow program has been developed to introduce prospective students to Radiologic Technology. This program allows individuals to visit the radiology department and obtain first hand experience about the field of Radiologic Technology.

During the four hour visit, you will be assigned a guide to take you around the department. Your guide, a member of our radiology department, will explain the various procedures being performed and answer any questions you may have about the profession.

You can apply for a shadow position by reviewing our shadow program information and submitting the appropriate forms.

When the forms are received by the Education Department, the School of Radiologic Technology will be notified and then contact you to set up a job shadow experience. Job shadows are set up Monday through Friday, preferably in the mornings.

Visitors should be neatly dressed; a dress, or slacks with a dress shirt is required. No shorts, t-shirts, jeans or other clothing not representative of a professional appearance are allowed.
