Special Testing

The Special Testing section of the Core Laboratory is where highly specialized testing is processed. Only in this section do we batch certain tests due to the highly manual nature of the area.

This area includes our protein testing section, volatiles (including ethylene glycol), anti-rejection drug testing for transplants, certain auto-immune testing using the latest in flow cytometric testing of antigen laden plastic beads (Luminex platform). This area has specially selected staff who perform these highly sophisticated assays.
