Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval
Avera McKennan's hip and knee replacement program has earned the Gold Seal of Approval™ for health care quality. The Joint Commission awarded Avera McKennan with Disease-Specific Care Certification for hip and knee replacement. Avera McKennan is the first organization in the region to receive certification for hip and knee replacement, and is one of only 18 organizations with certified programs in the nation. Read More.
We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for our in-patient rehab program, and we are also the only CARF-accredited program in the region for behavioral pain management, work specific rehab and level I brain injury program.
