Trauma Team Services
The Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center Trauma Team is made up of specialists from every necessary unit. This team of experts delivers trauma care beginning with treating the injury, through critical care and during the rehabilitation phase of treatment.
We provide 24-hour coverage in key areas and the trauma surgeon is always prepared to respond prior to patient arrival. Each of our special care units is prepared to assist with specific treatment for any trauma victim in need.
