Arthroscopic Surgery Expertise
Dr. Kalo specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder. A thin tube and camera through a small incision allows Dr. Kalo to view, assess and repair the damaged area. He uses arthroscopic surgery to fix damaged joints in younger people, and clean and preserve joints in older adults.
Dr. Kalo held a private practice in Fargo, N.D., where he was the team physician and orthopedic surgeon for student athletics at North Dakota State University as well as dozens of area high schools.
He also served as a clinical instructor at the University of North Dakota Medical School and was an instructor for the North Dakota State University Athletic Training Program for more than 10 years.
Dr. Kalo enjoys spending time outside hunting, fishing and riding bike. He has a wife and two daughters.
