Look Good...Feel Better!
June and Beverly enjoyed their "Look Good...Feel Better" make-over.
Please join the next "Look Good...Feel Better" mini workshop: Co-sponsored by American Cancer Society and Avera Queen of Peace Cancer Center.
"Look Good...Feel Better" is a free, national public service program that helps female cancer patients improve their appearance and self-image by teaching them hands on beauty techniques to manage their appearance during and after chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
Volunteer beauty professionals lead small groups, usually about two to four women, through practical and fun mini workshop. The women learn about makeup, skin care, nail care and ways to deal with hair loss such as the use of wigs, turbans and scarves. Each woman will receive a free take home makeup kit.
The workshop will be held at Avera Queen of Peace Cancer Center every second Monday. To register for the workshop, please call the American Cancer Society at toll-free 866-460-6550.
