Exercise can play a very important role in a person’s life after their diagnosis of cancer. Maintaining a regular exercise program can help you be stronger both mentally and physically.
Studies document increased stamina, functional capacity, strength, self-esteem, improved treatment tolerance and satisfaction with life as well as decreased pain.
Psychological changes include decreases in mood disturbances and depression, fewer sleeping problems as well as less fatigue during and after chemotherapy and radiation.
Chair exercise classes are a great way to get back into or begin your exercise routine after your diagnosis. Our Cancer Exercise Specialist leads you through safe and effective exercises to bring you the benefits you deserve.
