Types of Appointments
This is your once-a-year check-up. These visits are important for people of all ages and can include:
- Immunizations (Yes, even adults need their vaccines!)
- Age appropriate health screenings (blood work, mammograms, prostate exams, pelvic exams, etc.)
- Advice for staying or getting healthy
- Drug review
This type of visit usually takes 30-60 minutes. Schedule your next annual visit before you leave our office.
These regularly scheduled visits are important for people of all ages who have an ongoing medical problem like asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. People with ongoing conditions can benefit by preventing problems rather than waiting to see their provider when they are sick or experiencing symptoms. These visits can include:
- Monitoring of your condition with tests such as blood pressure monitoring, breathing tests, blood tests, foot exams, etc.
- Drug review
- Education for controlling your condition and preventing flare ups
This type of visit usually takes 15-30 minutes. Schedule all of your planned visits at once for the year, or make sure you schedule your next visit before you leave our office.
Acute or Sick Visit
Sometimes we get sick even when we do our best to prevent it. This type of visit usually takes 15-30 minutes. At the first sign of sickness or injury, call us to get an appointment with your provider or one of our other providers. All of our providers work together and communicate. We ensure that your medical record is updated.
To fit your busy schedule, we have designated providers to see walk-in and acute appointments on a daily basis. This will allow you to be seen as soon as possible.

We also have Urgent Care on Saturday mornings
9am - noon. No appointment necessary.

Please read on to learn more about patient centered medical neighborhood and how to be a better participant in your care.
Come to us first with your healthcare needs. We’ll help you decide if you need to see a specialist or if we can treat your concerns right here.
Tell us about all other medical visits you have had since your last visit with us. Visits with chiropractors, dentists, eye doctors, acupuncturists and other specialists can be very important for your health. Ask them to send a summary of your visit to us to put in your medical record.
We’ll Make Time For You
When you call for an appointment, sharing the reason with us will help ensure you have the right type of appointment. You and your provider need enough time to cover all of your concerns. If we can’t fit you in with your regular provider, we’ll offer you a visit with another provider from our Medical Group. This provider will have access to your medical record and plan of care developed by your regular provider.
We’ll Help Keep You Safe
Bring all of your drugs and supplements, or an accurate
list, with you to every visit. We need to know what you
are taking so that we can be sure you are safe and being treated properly.
Don’t Be A Stranger
Remember the saying, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."
Come to see us for an annual visit even if you are well.
We can help you stay that way.
If you have any ongoing medical problems like high blood pressure, asthma or diabetes, don’t wait to see us until something is wrong. Talk to us about how often a planned visit should be made to check on your condition. Make your next appointment before leaving our office.
